HIGH FASHION SHOES AND LEATHER GOODS MANUFACTURER

LUXURY AND QUALITY: THE WINNING CLASSIC

Artioli looks with interest to luxury’s technological era
Great passion and striving for perfection guided the Artioli family in creating their indisputably unique footwear and leather goods for almost a century that they have dedicated to creating models based on the continual evolution from season to season of fashion but which distinctly retain the same characteristic “Artioli” style. The two generations of Artioli, Vito (1936) and Andrea (1969) work side by side sharing the 2000’s in full accord, in their intent to shod the man who wants the absolute best there is.
Production is run by traditional methods that have been improved and perfected by technological evolution but that have kept intact the handcraft impossible for a machine to reproduce which vests the product with that fine characteristic artisan quality.
By blending tradition and technology the Artioli product attained results that were unimaginable at the start of Severino’s career when in 1912 he started to work in the shoe shop of his first master shoemaker in Ferrara.
At that time shoemakers worked

with few tools which allowed them to attain only certain limited homogeneity in product and finish; Severino became quickly prominent inventing and improving innovational tools and production processes together with expert mechanics, which gradually implemented shoemaking techniques over the years. Then it was Vito who in the 1950’s invented the slipon shoe with elastic under the tongue, allowing the fit to be adjustable to different types of feet, as well as elastic lacing permitting the derby to fit as easily as the slipon models. He created the first metal trims, making prototypes in cire perdue
